Advice
Be aware! These are REAL CLIENTS and BUSY PEOPLE with lives of their own and filming during the week might be tricky.
So a Sunday might be a good day to film – you will need to give the bands leader 6-8 weeks notice of a filming date, and once you have set it DON’T CHANGE IT!
Top Tips
COMMUNICATE with your team leader at all times.
DON’T LEAVE IT TO ONE OR TWO PEOPLE remember you are being assessed individually
IF YOU DON’T KNOW – ASK! Don’t forget it is your responsibility to know what is going on and if you don’t understand something then ask
DON’T think your first edit is your final edit, you must get the bands approval and sign off before you finish your DVD.
PRACTICE it is always a good idea to hire out a camera or use an edit suite just for practice, never leave it to the end or to the day, in fact you will gain extra marks for test shoots SO DO THEM!
